NAMI Walks
Join us for our 5th Annual Walk!
Join us Saturday, Oct. 2nd, at Appleton's beautiful Memorial Park for our annual walk event. Equal parts community outreach and fundraiser, this event is an incredible way to show your support for individuals and families who live with mental illness.
This fundraiser helps us achieve our mission - to work to improve the quality of life for those with brain disorders and their families through education, support, advocacy and research.
Each year, hundreds of caring citizens contribute to the cause by participating in and/or donating to NAMI Walks for the Mind of America. Last year, 47 teams walked and raised $116,483.77 to support NAMI Fox Valley.
In 2010, we hope that each of you contribute in some way to help us meet our fundraising goal of $125,000. Be a Sponsor. Be a Team Captain. Provide an in-kind donation or contribution. Volunteer on a committee. Walk with us! Each act of kindness allows NAMI to increase awareness about mental illness, eliminate the stigma associated with brain disorders, and provide vital services to individuals in need.

Kick-Off Breakfast - 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel. Bill Jartz, anchorman from WBAY Channel 2 will emcee this fun and inspiring event. Important materials for Team Captains will be distributed.
